skylar brenner is a fine art photographer located in los angeles county, california. they focus on creating abstractions of the world around them as well as focusing on distorting the familiar through an unfamiliar and often discomforting lens.

they have a long history with art, having attended the school of arts and enterprise in pomona, ca for high school, where they majored in digital art and also focused on learning photoshop and building an appreciation for fine art and photography. After graduating and spending a few years away from school, skylar began formally learning photography at mt san antonio college.

skylar is queer and autistic, and aims with their art to bring to the viewer a sense of unease and anxiety reminiscent of their own experience as well as their love for the genre of horror and the strange and unusual at large.
